This policy explains the service information published under the public-facing name Phu Quoc Currency Exchange. Legal-entity information is maintained separately on the Business Information page.

Before exchanging: confirm the current rate, the applicable buy/sell side, any separate fee or adjustment, banknote acceptance, identification requirements and the final amount before completing the transaction.

Policy effective/review date: 22 September 2026. Public contact: 0788 636 969. Published hours: 08:00–22:00 daily.

1. Published exchange rates and quote validity

Rates displayed on this website are the latest values entered by the site operator and can change during the day. A website rate should be read together with its timestamp. A displayed rate is not a permanent quote or guarantee for every later transaction.

If a transaction depends on a specific rate, especially for a larger amount, confirm the rate and timing before traveling. The final transaction should use the rate and terms confirmed for that transaction.

2. Buy and sell direction

When the service receives foreign cash from the customer and pays VND, the relevant side is normally We Buy. When the service provides foreign cash in exchange for VND, the relevant side is normally We Sell. See Buy vs Sell Exchange Rates if the direction is unclear.

3. Currency and banknote acceptance

Acceptance can depend on currency, denomination, banknote series, physical condition and current operational policy. Torn, heavily marked, damaged, taped, altered or unusual notes may be refused or require additional review.

A published currency rate does not by itself guarantee acceptance of every physical note. Use the Banknote Guide when a note is old, damaged or unusual.

4. Identification and transaction information

Customers must provide identification or transaction information required by applicable rules and the operator’s authorized procedures for the actual transaction. The website does not publish a blanket rule that every transaction is passport-free or that every transaction requires the same document.

If documentation matters to your visit, confirm the current requirement in advance. See Passport or ID for Currency Exchange in Phu Quoc.

5. Larger or unusual transactions

Larger exchanges may require advance confirmation of the current rate, VND availability, timing, banknote condition and required information. Published opening hours do not guarantee that every larger transaction can be completed immediately.

Call 0788 636 969 before traveling with a large amount of cash.

6. Fees, commissions and final amount

If a separate fee, commission or banknote-specific adjustment applies, it should be disclosed or confirmed before the customer accepts the transaction. The customer should compare the final VND amount, not only a headline rate.

A spread between We Buy and We Sell rates is not automatically the same thing as a separate fee. See Exchange Rate Spread vs Fees.

7. Receipts and transaction records

Where a receipt, invoice or transaction record is issued or required, customers should check the foreign currency, amount, exchange rate, any separate fee or adjustment, final VND, date and provider information before leaving the transaction point.

See Currency Exchange Receipts in Vietnam for the record-checking workflow.

8. Refused or delayed transactions

A transaction may be refused or delayed when required information is missing, banknotes do not meet current acceptance rules, cash is unavailable, the amount or transaction requires additional confirmation, or the transaction cannot be completed under the operator’s current procedures.

9. Corrections, complaints and questions

If you believe a published address, opening hour, rate link, policy statement or transaction detail is incorrect, use the Contact page or call 0788 636 969 and identify the specific issue.

If the concern relates to a completed transaction, retain the transaction record if one was issued and provide the relevant date, currency, amount and transaction point so the issue can be reviewed against the actual transaction.

10. Related website policies

Policy freshness note: rates, banknote rules, identification requirements, operating procedures and applicable regulations can change independently. Time-sensitive transaction details should be confirmed at the point of service rather than inferred from an older screenshot or cached page.

Need to confirm a rate before you visit?

Check the published rate, opening hours and location, then contact the exchange counter to confirm the final transaction details.
